EYELASH EXTENSION CARE-

  • It is incredibly important to avoid water, steam or excess moisture for 24 hours after lash extension application.  The adhesive needs this time to cure and become waterproof.
  • Avoid rubbing or pulling your eyelash extensions as this may cause damage to your extensions AND your natural lashes.
  • Because the adhesive is oil soluble, avoid all oil-based products such as cleansers, moisturizers, makeup and makeup remover.
  • Do not use waterproof makeup of ANY kind on eyelash extensions or eye area.  More often than not, waterproof makeup is oil-based.
  • Do not use eyelash curlers on your eyelash extensions.
  • Do not rub your eyes or lashes when washing your face.  Use an OIL-FREE makeup remover/cleanser and sweep hands gently, in a downward motion, to clean lashes.
  • If desired, lightly blow dry eyelashes on the cool setting of your hair dryer to dry and separate lashes.
  • Never cut or trim your lash extensions.
  • Remember to come in for touch ups every 2-4 weeks to keep your lashes looking their best.
  • Please come to your lash appointments with clean lashes.  If there are traces of makeup or oil on your lashes, the adhesive will bond to that residue and not your natural lashes, resulting in poor retention.  As a bonus, with time saved from your lash technician not having to remove makeup, you get more lashes!  It's a win-win all around!
  • Do not try to remove your extensions on your own.  Please call me and I will remove them without damaging your natural lashes.
